Hi

I have an 07 pike 454 coil fork and when i measure the amount of travel from the seal to the zip tie in full travel setting (140mm) i only get 130mm.

I have bounced lots to try and get 140mm but no luck. The fork works very well otherwise though.

In its lowest travel setting (95mm) it gives about 95mm.

Has anyone elso found this?

Any suggestions would be fantastic,

Cheers

That's the problem with coil spring forks. There is a very small window with ride weight to spring ratio. Each spring has to handle a 30lb variation. Some people will bottom out frequently with your spring, some people won't even hit 10% sag. You can try a lighter spring w/ preload.

As long as you're getting 25-30% sag, I wouldn't worry about it though.
