You had better read up on them cause I was considering one on Ebay this past weekend and I believe you need some special Maverick hardware for the hub... all I remember is once I saw that I moved on.. I think some of them have trough axles and you need a special hub..

I've got a SC32...

I am currently using a SC32 on my 29er and I like it for the most part. It is an excellently preforming fork with nice features. Now then on to the downsides... Proprietary 24mm front hub... this means no dice for a regular QR front wheel... or even a 20mm thru axle... Mind you I like the hub and its performance... but if you break the wheel, you probably won't have a back up anywhere near...

thats what I've got...

The OP said "...I know all about the 26 version..." so that is no surprise.

They all have a 24mm through axle and need to use a 24mm through axle hub. So far, I think there is the Maverick hub, along with Chris King and Industry 9 hubs that will work.
The Hope Pro2 hub can be converted between Maverick 24mm TA, 20mm TA, and QR axels.
