For XC/AM riding:

Mavic XM 819 Disc or Stans ZTR Flow

The Stans is a few mm wider which should allow me to run lower pressure due to increased volume, but Mavic is time tested and proved quality. I have some friends that run Stans and love them, but they're newness makes me a bit unsure.

I'm trying to stay below 500g each, open to suggestions if I'm missing anything.

Anyone having any problems with either?

I've got about a season of pretty abusive riding on my Flow's right now. I weigh 210 and ride pretty nasty trails (lots of wet, roots, rocks etc etc etc). I chose the Flow's because of they were a bit lighter and if I remember correctly they were a bit cheaper too. If you're ligther than me, then I doubt you'll put more hurt on the rims than I would; I kinda have a reputation of being hard on my equipment....

I'm surprised at how light and strong they are to be honest...
