I have completed a recent build...and have two sets of wheels
Crossmax XL & XTR M965's (for racing)
I sold the XTR's because they had too much flex and I could not stand the noise. Now my hubs on the Crossmax are done (I've had them for about 4 years).

My questions is the following (maybe one of you guys can give me some good insite):

1. buy the new Crossmax SLR's and use them for training/everyday riding also?
or
2. Buy the Crossmax ST's and use them for racing?

Will the SLR's hold up to all that riding, and will they flex like the XTR's? or should I race with the extra .25lbs?
thoughts?

How much does $$$$ matter? Cuz it sounds like its not a big deal and in that case, go with the SLR's.

Also, how much do you weigh?

Can you rebuild the XL hubs? They should be cartridge bearings.
