I am planning on getting a new wheel set for my single speed which I do some urban assault and drops with. I want a rim that I never/ rarely have to true and has to be v-brake compatible. So for the money, which rim do you all think is better/ stronger? I am not worried about weight. Thanks.

AFAIK Universalcycles.com has some 721's... 729's are another story.

i like my 721's
never had much of a problem with em. hardly ever needed truing. they chewed up a log and still run straight. i do seem to have bent the sidewall outwards a bit though near the join.

You could look into atomlab's pimplite, pretty much same weight once built up due to the 20g wheel weight drop due to atomlab's torque nipples.
