I was looking at getting the mavic crossrides for my monocog. I can get them for $150 shipped from JensonUsa.com with a pricematch to sagecycles.com. I was wondering if anyone rides these wheels and if you would kindly give me your input on them. I am also concerned that the low spoke count(24) will not be good for my weight(220lb). I am not going to do any big drops, just mainly singletrack and maybe a 2-3 drop, but not very often. Thanks in advance for all the help.

I have the crossmax xls & weigh 220 no problems at all, the lower spoke count is offset by bigger spokes

I was 245lbs when I had Mavic Crossride and I was hucking 4 foot drops.. and the wheels stay true..

I run them as well as a friend of mine who is 226 (congrats steve on dropping 50 pounds in the last 18 months) any way, he loves them and we both agree that compared to everyone elses entry level wheel, these things are crazy fast and they can take a beating. Hope this helps
