So I got the rear Xmax March 2006, and put 6000 km on it, I replaced the two axle bearings, a month ago.

I noticed the cassete wobbling yesterday, so after an hour figured out that the freehub bearing was gone. I replaced it and it has certainly reduced the issue.

But I noticed that the Freehub has a hard plastic ring that forms the seal nearest the wheel.

This ring also can ride on an inner race, I think to help support the freehub.

So to fix this I think I need a new Freehub (Any way I want one as a spare at least).

So I searched and found ww.bikeparts.com. They sell Mavic freehubs $US69.00 , but only list 2006 and I think mine might be a 2005 wheel.

Any one know where I can get a Mavic Freehub online

Is this causing any problems like poor shifting? Years ago I also bought a new freehub to take the wobble out but didn't notice any difference in shifting so I put the old one back on. Do you want to buy a used freehub with 20 miles on it?

I am not sure you might want to check with Mavic but i think '02-'06 freehubs in some Xmax and Ksyriums are interchangeable. I have '02 Xmax and a '04 spare hub, they bolt together fine but an m760 XT cassette fits looser on the '04 hub.

Most the larger bike shops in my area have a Mavic "yellow" spare parts box full of spare spokes, pawls, and freehubs, you probably could find one locally if you call around.

Well maybe a little bit of poor shifting, I just don't want to bust everything up cause it is moving around.

Yeah I stopped in at my other LBS on my ride today, and they had a load of Mavic freehubs, but no Crossmax just Krysium, and I think the are identical so I'll go back in, Monday and sort it out with the head mechanic.

I'd buy yours but for $60 bucks why fight the battle I am in Canada.
