Hi folks,
Just thought I'd pass on my thoughts on the ML8 having now done a few months riding on mine. Bought it after demo rides on most similar price frames - E'Worth, Turner, Yeti, etc and loved the agility, climbing of the ML8, but wasn't too convinced by it's ability on the gnarly stuff. I therefore decided to pair it up with Fox Van 36RC2's. This slackened off the headangle and makes for a far more capable bike. The rear end climbs the rough stuff better than the various 4 bars, giving great traction on rough climbs. Mud clearance (snow actually) is good and the rear end design does give a sideways stiff frame, noticeable on rooty, rocky corners and the long chainstays / front end gives excellent confidence off the jumps. No scratches or wear marks yet on the hard Ano and kitted out with fairly high end stuff - XTR/Mavic tubeless wheels, XO/XTR transmission, Magura Loiuse brakes, Thompson finishing kit, eggbeaters - 29.5lbs All and all very happy with the frame ideal for playing on drop offs, jumps, etc or Northern Scottish Mountains.

p.s That was a temporary back wheel, now have XTR/Mavic on
