Marzocchi crown to axle

I've got a 1999 Rocky Mountain Blizzard hard-tail. Used to have a pair of Rockshox SID's (80mm) fitted.
Recently changed over to a pair of Marzocchi Marathon Race 80mm.
Do the Marzocchi crown to axle length measure slightly long? It feels like the front end is jacked up .
