Hello. I've got a Bomber Z1 and its not getting full 180mm travel.
I installed a smashpot in it a little while ago and i just realised recently that it bottoms out at only 170mm travel. The travel o-ring stops about 10mm from the top of the stanchions.
To confirm the bottom out position, I removed the smashpot assembly and the fork will still not compress any further than about 10mm from the top.
Does anyone know if this is normal for a Z1 Bomber or could there be something wrong with the damper?
I had a look through the smashpot installation instructions again and noticed that there is a part to extend the top cap on fox 36 forks. This would lengthen the fork a bit and perhaps give me my 10mm travel back by extending the top out position.
Anyone else running a smashpot in a 180mm bomber? Did you install at top cap spacer or not?
