I know it will void the warranty, but I was wondering if anyone was riding the all mountain 1 or 2 on the '05 XLT? I would most likely run it in 130/140mm for the trails I ride anyway, but it would be nice to open up the 150mm for Lift accessed, and larger drops. Plus in the future I would have a fork that will be more fitting to a 6" rear travel frame.

anyone doe this and not totally eff'd the GEO?

Seems to me that the HT angle would be pretty slack at that point, although I've already mentioned this to you on another thread. I was climbing some REALLy steep stuff yesterday with XLT with a vanilla RLC and for the first time was wishing for a stepper Ht angle...

With that being said, 150 would be some funs stuff every once in a while...

EA function

that is why I am looking @ the 'Zocchi's, they have ETA feature... It would bring the HA down to about 100mm on the climbs, I would run 130mm mos of the time, but would crank it up to 150mm when I put on my heavy wheelset/tires.

As mentioned before, I run a Z150 on my XLT and absolutely love it. Furthermore, so do two more of my friends. We ride hard, technical terrain frequently (Psigah District, Asheville NC). No issues, ETA can be very helpful.
