I did a search and realize the 66's have play when fully extended. I feel the fork clunk when I ride in certain conditions and it is quite annoying. I want my front end to be tight.

My question is, do other forks have the same clunky play?

The last 1/2 dozen fork I have owned have had zero play. I'd call Marzocchi...if the fork is a 08 or 09 sorry to hear that, they had known issues.

Ya you may want to just spend the $250 on some 2010 slotted and fitted lowers. No more excessive play.
