i found a sweet deal on the fork and im not sure if its up to the plate fro dj'ing and urban stair gaps. It seems like it would have a lot of adjustment but im not sure.

Well the idea behind an the SL is that it's big travel at a weight you can pedal. For urban weight isn't as much of an issue so I'd rather have a coil fork as they feel nicer. The FR SL will hold up fine it and if you get it dialed you should be happy with it but unless the price is ridiculously low i'd try to find a coil FR1 or something.
