What’s up y’all. Just got into this rad sport and I’m here to learn more about. I’ve been riding a vintage Cannondale(rigid) M300 and it’s been a lot of fun. Looking to find a few others to ride with and find the right bike to own eventually. I’m in MOCO and there are a lot of nice local trails. DM me if you want to link up.

I ride Schaeffer farms and Little Bennett almost every week.
Schaeffer farms is probably the most popular one in Moco. You can link it to the trails from Seneca Creek for a longer 15-30 miles ride.

Trailforks is a good resource to find trails.

Here is a link of the Moco county ride from last month. Routes option range from 5 - 70 miles.

When you get a real mountain bike and want to go to the next level, check out the two largest MTB trail systems in Maryland: Patapsco Valley State Park and Frederick Watershed.
The downhill trails in Watershed are world class.
