A friend is selling me a RockShox Yari160mm Fork 29r for a very low price, what do y'all think? Would it work well on My Riftzone 2 2019?

i think that i would not put that on my bike, even if it was given to me. if i wanted/needed a long travel 29, i would not have purchased a RZ with 120mm travel. i would have gotten a bike designed for longer travel and for the type terrain it is intended for. just my opinion.

Max I would go with a fork on the Rift Zone is 140mm, but you could always change out the Yari air shaft (~$30) to a 140.

I tossed a 140 Pike on my RZ2 and I couldn’t picture going more than that. With the rear only being 120 it seems like anything more would really throw it off.

I think there is a guy on here who went 150 though?

With the Yari can you convert it to a smaller travel?

I had the 150mm on my RZ3 and loved it. It slackened out the HA nicely. I don't think I would go any bigger though.

I picked up 2019 sektor 150mm for 150* which I think I’m gonna drop to 140mm. Hopefully it works
