why does it matter what its called? as long as it works good thats fine with me. it could be called Peice of Sh1t Fork for all i care. and the stace kingpin is going to be like the 2003 sliders with tpc+, but 7 inches of travel and black stanchions. its also going to be much more affordable from what i hear.
Yeah, the Stance line is supposed to be cheaper than the Shermans, and have TPC instead of SPV I believe. Anybody seen that 6 or 7inch travel flick with the normal headtube.....thats gunna give the z-150 a run for its money.

i saw it in a mag looks sick. its super light weight too.
so it is basically the 03 shermans?

that sounds promising!!!
they are cheaper cause they are made in taiwan and not the usa
JensonUSA already has them listed and is taking orders for them (not in stock yet though). Its $450, 170mm has TPC+ and weighs 7.2 lbs according to the listed specs. Its a coil fork with air preload.
That is a cheap line of Manitou... with a cheap name..

yeah, since the firefly 20mm is only 5.4lbs, i bet that will be only like 6.6lbs, maybe 7...

oh wait, thats what a Z150 weighs....

I for one am happy the Stance line is coming out, I love TPC and have never really enjoyed the feel of SPV in a fork even thoughI've never ridden one properly setup for me, lol. I'll probably get a Kingpin for my V-10 and a Blunt or FLow or whtever other models there are for my Titan.

Oooo, black stanchions, how original!
Manitou had something with the six inch TPC+ slider. Nice to see that they are taking that to the conclusion, a 7" model with TPC+, as well as cheaper single crowns with TPC+....

Cuz as we all know here, TPC+ rules over SPV, atleast IMO.... notice IMO.

Tony your a post whore of course IMO is what your going to say.

the facts to back all this up are this

SPV: is made for ppl who want the best pedaling platform

TPC: is made for the best "feel"

Personnaly i ride a minute(spv) on my xc bike and am going to have(for now) a dorado on my dh bike(tpc)

I only said IMO cuz i'm a ***** and wanted to be non controntational by avoiding flames and a huge debate from those who prefer spv over tpc.
Doesnt look too bad to me for less than a Jr.T, and much better dampening.

THe SPV is nice once in the travel and great for climbing/extended pedalling, but it doesn't have the feeling that the TPC+ does on the small stuff.
