That does sound really stupid..and its gonna say STANCE KINGPIN on the forkt too.
why does it matter what its called? as long as it works good thats fine with me. it could be called Peice of Sh1t Fork for all i care. and the stace kingpin is going to be like the 2003 sliders with tpc+, but 7 inches of travel and black stanchions. its also going to be much more affordable from what i hear.finchy said:"Stance kingpin" what the hell kind of name for a fork is that?
anyone got anyinfo on it> it sure looks promising accept for the stupid name!
i saw it in a mag looks sick. its super light weight too.DJrider04 said:Anybody seen that 6 or 7inch travel flick with the normal headtube.....thats gunna give the z-150 a run for its money.
yeah, since the firefly 20mm is only 5.4lbs, i bet that will be only like 6.6lbs, maybe 7...konabiker said:i saw it in a mag looks sick. its super light weight too.
I for one am happy the Stance line is coming out, I love TPC and have never really enjoyed the feel of SPV in a fork even thoughI've never ridden one properly setup for me, lol. I'll probably get a Kingpin for my V-10 and a Blunt or FLow or whtever other models there are for my Titan.Hecubus said:JensonUSA already has them listed and is taking orders for them (not in stock yet though). Its $450, 170mm has TPC+ and weighs 7.2 lbs according to the listed specs. Its a coil fork with air preload.
Oooo, black stanchions, how original!konabiker said:...but 7 inches of travel and black stanchions...
Cuz as we all know here, TPC+ rules over SPV, atleast IMO.... notice IMO.Jm. said:Manitou had something with the six inch TPC+ slider. Nice to see that they are taking that to the conclusion, a 7" model with TPC+, as well as cheaper single crowns with TPC+....
Tony your a post whore of course IMO is what your going to say.COmtbiker12 said:Cuz as we all know here, TPC+ rules over SPV, atleast IMO.... notice IMO.
I only said IMO cuz i'm a ***** and wanted to be non controntational by avoiding flames and a huge debate from those who prefer spv over tpc.snowskilz said:Tony your a post whore of course IMO is what your going to say.
the facts to back all this up are this
SPV: is made for ppl who want the best pedaling platform
TPC: is made for the best "feel"
Personnaly i ride a minute(spv) on my xc bike and am going to have(for now) a dorado on my dh bike(tpc)
THe SPV is nice once in the travel and great for climbing/extended pedalling, but it doesn't have the feeling that the TPC+ does on the small stuff.Jm. said:Manitou had something with the six inch TPC+ slider.
