Hey! I am currently building myself a custom bike and was wondering if I should go with the manitou swinger 3 or 4 way or the 5th element rear shock? Any advice will be very usefull. Thanks!

I haven't tried the 4 way, but I think the Swinger is a better and more reliable shock than the 5th Element.

The Stratos XC PRO is a better, more reliable rear shock than either. They're not as well known tho but sure will be now that they are making the aftermarket inertia dampers for Fox Forx.

ditto the more reliable part, and they certainly feel alot better on small bumps than the Progressive.
