Ok well i just got my Avid Disc brakes mounted and my v brakes removed from my 04SJ fsr well the v brakes have 2 posts on the shock that hold the v brakes. I heard you can remove those but you need some plugs to fill in the hole. I was wondering where i can get a hold of some of these. And my second question is my front brake line is straped on the shock by a zip tie now i have seen fancy loop thing that sticks on the shock and prevents the line from moving around etc.. can someone lead me to the right place on where i can find these litile items.. :)

A bike shop is the best bet for both of those.

The empty holes on your fork don't need to be plugged, but plugs will keep dirt out. If your shop doesn't have plugs specifically for this, you can use tape, nylon hole plugs sometimes found in the electrical aisle of the hardware store, or nylon bolts.

Options for the stick on guides can also be found in the electrical aisle, or as a cable management item for home a/v equipment.
