What are the main stores in the GTA that carry MTB accessories. I'm talking the fun stuff, like carbon, ti, and all that other stuff you don't need but like to get to say you have it.

I have tried Gears & Dukes?(on Queen Street) not really much there. Dukes did have forks galore.

Where do you guys go? GTA West is even better for me.

More towards the GTA east, but by far the best place for high-end goodies. Trailblazers is my favourite LBS, with some of the best wrenching and highly experienced, down-to-earth sales staff. They now also have an e-comm website.

you get a good selection if you combine broadway cycle on bloor with mcbride extreme (not really) on dundas. Broadway has some deals (Fox 36 @ $1499) and most of their bikes are marked down. He has a GT i-drive that has been nailed to his showroom floor for a couple of years...was $8500, now asking $4500, but he'll do better. Duke's had some deals just before the bike show, but Gary was able to clear most of the sale stuff early this year

because of there being so much out there, most LBS's will carry the popular stuff but have to special order the more exotic (prepaid, of course). Best bet is to call around the list posted above and find out which stores carry frames and will do custom builds...these usually have more flexabilty

Also, web based retailers are a good bet, most ship to Canada, are off-price most of the time, and offer a much larger selection, but you have to know what you want.

happy hunting

Out of Business?

I was on Kingston Rd yesterday & saw that the West Hill Cycle & Sports store was empty. I don't know if they've moved or went out of business? Does anyone live nearby & can check it out?
