Magura Martas with Koolstop pads?

I use them on my Julies... not far from Maggie standard pads. A bit more bite, similar power... a long lasting pad. No fade, no heating.

I'm just waiting for those to wear out to replace them with some original ones or at least a type approved by Magura.

Sounds like they are an ok substitute?

since they worked why pay double for the magura pads.... Is it just the warrantee concern or something more.

Yeah, they work OK. My brakes are old and they're the only brakeset I have, so I rather listen to Magura and stop using them.

Magura says that the problem is the unknown amount of metallic content in the pad material might cause some overheating on the brake and cause a failure.

I've had not had any problem, though.
