Did you get 'em at one of the local shops or direct? I was gonna be lazy and order them online but doesn't seem worth the shipping to send 'em across town.

I got them at a local shop(Terry's). I was tempted to just walk into their office on Sunset Way.

Thanks, is Terry's the Bike Shop? If so, I know exactly where that is, Mike the eyeglass guy has done a few pairs of scripts for me.

What else comes from down there, and do any of you work making some kid of physical product? A company called ATEC makes pitching machines in Sparks. We have the Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing people right behind us (their only bottling facility, I`m pretty sure), and the Michelin distributor used to produce tires for a few years. Ralston Purina makes generic breakfast cereals in Sparks (used to make dry dogfoor in that plant when I worked next door), and they still make dry dogfood at the KalKan plant going East on I-80. US Gypsum just closed down the Empire sheetrock plant and adjoining gypsum mine last month. I know there`s a company that makes garden hose out there too, and a lot of other plastic extrusion plants, but I don`t know what exactly they put out. Sure wish I did.

Currently, I do maintenance at the plant that prints National Enquirerer for West of the Rockies states and a ton of fliers for dept stores (the K-Mart, JC Penneys, Longs, etc stuff that comes in Sunday papers). Before that, I bottled Spice Islands spices until they moved the operations to DesMoines.
