I've developed a fair bit of lever travel on my brakes (equal amount front and rear). Once I am through the travel brakes are nice and firm. Bled both F and R, pads are worn down (do M765 / XT self adjust?). Really would live the brakes to common on sooner that they are now. Any idea on adjustments, rebleeding or is this normal for XT's?

Thanks

If the lever is travelling too far then your last bleed probably got a bit of air stuck behind one of the pistons. Best bet is to rebleed and when you have closed your bleed nipple then tap the line with a screw driver handle from the caliper to the lever. Once your done pump the lever a bunch of times until there are no bubbles and the lever feels stiff. Toss in some new pads (mostly for the new & stronger spring that comes with them), pop in the orange spacer and press the lever to set the pistons in their bore, and your done!
