Hello. I'm looking at buying yet another used bike. It's a Cannondale M500 CAD2. It has grip shifters rather than thumb/trigger shifters. It is aluminum.

Any idea what year it might be from?

Any idea on a fair price for one in good but not excellent condition?

Read the serial number on the bottom of the bottom bracket

Serial number code: first two digits are the size, next 6 are date of manufacture, remainder are unit number.

What it's worth depends on it's condition and whether or not it's 7 or 8 speed. I assume it is a rigid(no front suspension). $75?
