I have this 26" wheel laying around, but no 26" bikes any more...

It has an m with wings logo, and is gold color with 6 bolt rotor mount. Its paired up with an Alex adventurer rim right now.

I want to try my hand at wheelbuilding for the first time. Would this hub be worth re-lacing to a new 29" rim? Any way to find specs on it?

I see what looks like lock nuts, so theyre loose ball. Non shimano loose ball hubs tend to be pretty low quality. And heavy. Kinda looks like the motobecane logo.

Id pass on reusing it. Good 9mm qr hubs are pretty cheap these days.

Cant go too wrong with shimano. Im a big fan.

However, theyre not convertible. If you want a new fork at some point, its likely to have a 15mm axle. Id choose a hub that can be changed from 9mm to 15. Bikehubstore has good ones. Dt swiss 350 or 240's are always great too.
