I just picked up a spankin' new Lyrik SoloAir for my Knolly Endorphin. I don't want to chopper out the geometry too much, so am planning on keeping the travel at 140mm (525mm A-to-C).

The Rock Shox All-Travel kit comes with various types of spacers (see pic):

White hard plastic
Black rubber
Black plastic

I believe the white spacers are for the coil version.

Can someone tell me which spacers go on the SoloAir? Apparently both the rubber and the plastic fit...

IIRC the white ones snap onto the end of a coil spring (not sure what model fork...)

The rubber ones are top out bumpers. You could use a longer one than you have or double up on them..but it takes a tiny bit more work to change those out. The 3/4 round ones just snap on the shaft.

don't think it's very expensive, but I believe you'll need to order it from your local shop.

are the rubber ones flexible?

I'd just stuck with the 3/4 ones... since you can easily clip them on/off.... and they are the ones shown on other model's manuals (damn RockShox, that doesn't have a service guide for the dual air lyrik)

Take a look at the topout bumper when you open the fork... does it look like the 3/4 plastic spacer will play nicely with the bumper? I don't know about the Lyrik Solo Air, but the Totem has a larger "hollow" bumper that the plastic spacer tries to wedge itself into. If it's the same bumper in the Lyrik, go with the full-round spacers. I didn't have these when I lowered my Totem (the second time around) and had to make a spacer out of a piece of nylon.

Also, if you are ever inclined to use two spacers, the 3/4 plastic ones can work each other off the shaft. Another surprise discovery when I used two 20mm spacers to lower my Totem the first time.

Hmm... the all-travel spacers in my Tora SoloAir looked exactly like the two rubber deals in the upper left corner of that photo.

Anyone know where to puchase this kit online? I can't seem to find a reputable source.

I have some spare spacers from a Fox Vanilla 32... anyone know if it's the same shaft diameter as a Rockshox 32mm model (Argyle 409, in particular)?

i just lowered my totem today. i used some skateboard bushings it works perfect

i got the black ( they are the hardest) doh dohs thats what they are called. i got 2 packs of them i used the cylinder shaped ones.the reason i used 2 packs is cause they are each 14mm thick. i took a dremel and drilled it out alittle and it went right on there. it took about 30min to do everything.

JC do you space out the Damper side too? or were you lowering the totem 56mm (all spacers on the air cap side)?

just the air side. when you take the fork apart on the air side theres a rod with some plastic disk shaped parts with orings on them in the middle there is a rubber bumper. the spacers go above the bumper. the bottom plastic disk and bumper will just slide off the bottom. then just slide the spacers on and put back together. once you get it apart its simple to get back together. some new fork oil and its good to go.

before i did that i was playing around with the air pressure abit. i run 80psi in mine. i dont like it real soft (lots of jumping and drops). so what i did is i put a shock pump on my fork with it at 180mm. i had a friend of mine hold the front end down to 150mm. then i gave the pump a half pump to see what pressure i should put in it to make it feel the same as before. it was a 13psi increase at 150mm. then when we let it back upthe guage went back to 80psi.i think that should make it feel the same with less travel if i put 93psi in it at 150mm. i will see tomorrow
