The 2009 is a good bike but the 2010 has some nice changes. The down tube on the 2010has a shaped curve where is joins the head tube creating enough clearance for any 29'er fork available. The sliders are improved as well and the geometry has been tweaked a bit. If, I was in the market for a Ridgeline, I'd get the 2010.

Chainreaction says 2010 will surface in Feb.
2010 have slacker angles, will go better with a 100 or 110 mm shock.
2009 with a CK headset and a Fox fork works OK with a guy I know.

Schultz - apart of the nicer looks, wouldn't 2010 be a bit slower at handling due to the slacker angles ?

I have an 09 Ridgeline w/ a Hope headset and a Reba...clears fine. I really like the frame, but really tempted by the sweet 2010 Pro29. I can't say I notice much flex on my Ridgeline, but still wonder how helix tube changes the ride.
cytoe...the Helix tubes are by far the best things since sliced bread. they are rad looking and work rad. you should definitely get a new one since you hang out with the b!tch squeaky wheel who is always trying to one up you

The head tube is a degree slacker, but that is based on 100mm. The 09 was based on 80mm. I have the 2010 SL which I run with 80mm..
The top tube may be shorter then the 09, but on my small, it is 22 3/4" which is perfect for me. It is a great bike of highest quality.
