On Saturday May 14, 2005, Dieselbikes will be holding a Trail and Bridge building day in Lynn Woods. This trail build has been approved by the Lynn Woods Park Management. We require 15 volunteers to complete the job on Saturday. This is a first come first serve bases. If you can not make it, don't worry, we will have other projects in the near future. Here is what you need to know:

Start Time and Meeting Place:

Everyone should meet at the ball field parking lot (Great Woods Road Entrance) between 9:30am and 9:55am. We will be leaving the parking lot at 10:00 to head to the job site.

Estimated Project Time:

We accept this project to take 3 hours to complete. Once complete, we will ride for the rest of the day!!!

What to Bring:

Bring your own food, water, pair of work gloves and your bike!

What WE are going to do:

The map below shows the job site area. The second picture shows the current bridge. The trail currently runs into a flooded area and over the past few years, has become a growing problem. A section of the trail will be re-cut to higher ground and a bridge will be constructed to cross the flooded area. We need 3 teams of 5 people.

Group 1 will work on the bridge.
Group 2 will work on the trail re-cut.
Group 3 will cover up the old trail.

Wood for the bridge will be pre-cut and driven out to the job site before Saturday. Tools will be provided for this work day. Once again, we just need 15 volunteers to help.

Please PM PUSK (ID name) through www.bustedspoke.com if you need further information.

Everything is set for tomorrow. The weather looks like it will work out for us. If you are coming to help, please be ready to leave the baseball field parking lot by 10:00.

There is a good amount of work to get done. Looking forward to see some local biker support!
