LX m570 octalink spider w/ XTR crank arm

That doesn't work.

Although the spline pattern is the same, the LX spider is too thick to get the lockring to tighten properly. You can however use a spider from M750 or later XT cranks and some aftermarket spiders. As mentioned in your previous thread, I have an Avitar spider that works fine.

Thank you for the reply, yeah, i forgot about the 58/94 you mentioned on your previous response, yes i am interested in your extra avitar spider. do i need an avitar lock ring for that to work?
