Fest Y I...

In just 2 weeks the Fruita Fat Tire Fest is coming and in one of my most exciting announcments...

Luna has come in as one of the coolest sponsors of the event. Team Luna and the famed "Luna Chicks" will be helping us with clinics, guided rides and making appearances in the various events of the Festival from the 18 Hours of Fruita (details pending) to the Clunker Crit and several other surprises. It is really a cool idea for sponsorhsip and we here in Fruita are really excited about Luna interest in Fruita.

Luna and all the girls have been so supportive of us through the years and we are very excited to have them here in force and official.

Thanks and three cheers to Team Luna.

See you all in Fruita...

Well. Make sure they don't pick up any ticks there. It's spring, you know. And I hear there are lots of lunaticks out there.

Is Shonny planning on showing up with a broken clavicle this year?

His name is Jason Grove - and a good friend. His company: https://www.elcaminofab.com/

Damn it's a small world. Jason's goofy grin belies his ability to absolutely stomp you into the ground on pretty much any ride. The guy is a freakin' machine.

See you guys in a couple of weeks!

No doubt! He's building up all sorts of crazy stuff for all sorts of people (Spot, Jericho, Edge, and more). But to a certain 7 year old girl in Fruita he's "my Jason, and Daddy brought him back!" And to the rest of us Fruita, he's the Mutant.

Now if you only knew what we were grinning about...

Maybe it'sd just that we are all saying to ourselves "dang I'm good looking" or maybe it was, "sheese this guy makes us all look short".

Actually I think is was Petsee getting gang raped by the SS class on the folding table behind the camera person.

I honestly cant remember but like the one about being so good looking.

Once again I'll see all y'all in Fruita

No doubt, he is The Mutant as well as one helluva friend.

no breaks on the 'Vanlanding-hammer' this year......although as Marla's bruised bum proved last year, things in Fruita can change in an instant....

the luna ambassadors show up here now and then wearing luna garb and proceed to confuse the hell out of everybody as to their status....we get comments in the shop all the time "i think i saw alison out on the trail...."etc etc.

On the 1st of April, my 13 year old daughter and 11 year old son and I had just finished Horsethief. We were chilling out getting ready to finish Mary's - when this swarm of riders came blasting up Mary's. They stopped...it was none other than Team Luna Chix riding with Team Tokyo Joe's! They were all fantastic, chatting w/my kids and encouraging them.

True ambasadors. We rode on after a few minutes of banter...my kids were totally star struck. It was a very cool experience for them (and me of course).
