Lowering an 06 Marzocchi 66SL

I am wondering if it is possible to lower an 06 66SL internally with travel spacers?
I would like to lower mine to 80mm.

Just pump the negative chamber until it drops to 80mm. It is an air fork so I don't think you can use travel spacers.

If I do that, I can't add much positive air to make it stiff though; it bottoms out really easily. It doesn't feel safe putting so much air into it.

If it bottoms out easily then add pressure to PAR valve. If you are getting a lot of sag the add air to the RC2 side (preload).
