i just changed my front and rear wheelset to the mavic crosslands from the WTB dual duty that came from the factory. After installing them, i get this really loud squeal from the brakes? These are V-brakes btw. Anyone know whats going on. I never had this problem with the WTB. And i also checked the lines and pads and alignment and they all seem to be perfect?

You just slapped the new wheels in place and your brakes didn't even need to be adjusted? That's always nice. Perhaps you just need to introduce your rim to your brake pads by doing some nice strong stops on a hill, if the noise persists I find there's nothing like finding a puddle and then using the brakes to add a little grit to the situation. If they're still squealing you sure you got those pads adjusted right?

i mean i adjusted them and they looked fine is what i meant. I guess i'll go break em in this weekend. Thanks!
