Lots of Walking

Did the same about the same distance from my house a couple weeks ago....I remember my friend had a pinch flat 5 miles from his house at like 10 at night...So he just took his whole tire off and road on the rim home haha.........I just realized how ironic your name is with this thread......Mike Walker hates to Walk?

I did this yesterday, also blew my front tire off the rim, wrecked my helmet and elbow, then a 5 mile walk in 105 degree heat.

I was thinking of carrying an extra tube, tools, and one of those on the go tire fillers for this very purpose since I always have a school bag when I ride...that sucks!

Carry two tubes... You'll have your one extra tube then one day you'll be riding and have a double flat and you'll be so angry!

If you don't carry tubes, a buddy of mine once rode out by stuffing grass in his tire in the place of air. Seriously. Might be worth a try if you are stuck that far from home or your car.

Your friend has a good imagination...I would never think of that.

I know a guy that comes to my shop and DJs on a solid tire. He destroys wheels about once a year, but he never gets flats.

I'd much rather get flats than replacing wheels. Sheesh.
