I don't know about my fellow Bend-r's, but I sure am noticing a LOT more runners, hikers, dog walkers on lower Phil's lately. Seems like every time I've gone out in the last few weeks on post-work rides I've seen at least 4 or 5 folks/couples walking the lower trails - I'd say half are retirees. Can't say as I remember seeing that in the past few years. Not that it's a real big deal or anything - all were fairly friendly, or at least cordial... only one scowl I'm curious to see what the future multi-million dollar home development on Skyliners will bring in the future in terms of trail usage/conflict.

So is it just me, or is there in fact more foot traffic lately?

The wife and I seem to always encounter runners and dog walkers on the trails. All have been friendly so far, but then again we always stop an let them go by that way we don't have a situation for conflict.

So It's not just you - the foot traffic is growing.

When do COTA Wednesday night work crews start? does any one know?

Not sure about Wednesdays, but I know they are having volunteer work crews out every Saturday through May. Meeting time is at 9 a.m. at DiLusso's then trek on out to the work spot from there.

When do COTA Wednesday night work crews start? does any one know?
