i lost mine.. its tiny, and the second you remove the talas knob it goes flying across the room never to be found again.

of course fox offers a replacement, but they want ten dollars for a 2 cent steel ball. thanks fox! :eek:ut: thats insane, so i bought a bag of 25 stainless steel detent balls from a different source that fit perfectly. just installed mine, no more wandering talas knob.

you guys have helped me a bunch with different things, so heres me giving back to the community. if you've lost your talas detent ball, ill mail you one for free! this isnt spam, i dont even want shipping.. just giving back to the community for the holidays

i have no way to verify if you actually need this, so we'll do it on the honor system. if you dont need one leave it for someone who does! thanks.

Nice gesture. I have a magnetic parts tray that I hold next to forks and other parts with small BBs. If I'm lucky, the magnet grabs it, if not I'm callin you!

Lost mine some weeks ago, but luckily I found it the next day. Couldn't find replacements anywhere in Germany and it's hard to communicate this sort of thing in a foreign country.
You can't find ball bearings in Germany?!? Wow!

Didn't the mtbr staff tell you to put me on ignore? Here's the reference:

Guess I'm just that damn interesting that you had to remove me and read and comb through my posts.

I'm sorry if you don't dig Germany. You don't have to get xenophobic and borderline racist about it on a consistent basis.

Tell me about it. That guy actually makes his money (well, not anymore, since he's in finance) in Germany, then finds any chance he can to bash it and bash me for moving from the US to Germany. He even got told off pretty bad by a US soldier who missed his kids growing up and sacrificed other things for the US and ****** had nothing to counter with. He kind of went away for a month, presumably to lose more money with his company.

The strangest part of this is he's sent me bizarre messages asking if I'm interested in hanging out.

Thanks man, but tell ****** to go scratch. To clarify ******'s often racist remarks about Germany as a country, despite the fact that he makes and loses his money here, is that it's difficult to relay technical info and find such places. The culture is different and business structures are as well. It will take time for me to gain that self-sufficiency I had in the US, and if I was in for an easy time, I would have just moved back to England where I wouldn't have had much of a language barrier to deal with. Cockney fights are an exception, though ;)
3/32 makes it much harder, I'm sure.

Nothing I cannot say about JC (the OG JC) that I wouldn't apply to Jesus Christ.
Thank you, sir. I will remember you during the next recycled discussion about a religious mtb group ;)

Boo hoo! Are you gonna go cry to the Mods again? Funny thing was that the post in poor taste was actually a friend from your city (who claims to know who you are) who hijacked an open session on my laptop. I did apologize for that. It was pretty funny but awfully harsh!

You sure have a lot of time on your hands to not figure out how to translate a couple of words in a country where most cyclists speak pretty good English. Being the quickest in the forums to criticize, you sure have a glass jaw.

Germany is really a great country. One of the most pro-cycling countries I have ever lived. Wonderful place to bike, lots of cycling passion. Like others have said, you should try it sometime ;).

BTW, we've actually crossed paths twice since I've been in Germany. Funny that your head is so far in the dark that you cant add 1+1...

Cheers!

Good try on "your friend knowing me", as that's not possible.

And we have not crossed paths "twice". Not even once, for that matter. That's not going to get me scared or "thinking".

That was a terrible try at covering for posting something and getting busted for it by claiming it came from a friend. None of that makes sense. The moment especially you said it was "someone that knows me". Hell, the moment you said "we've crossed paths", your story fell apart.

Terrible, keep trying though. However, the mods asked you to put me on ignore.

How's business in your sector doing (or not doing?). Causing some stress?

I fully expect another PM asking for a "meeting" between us, which I got the gist of. I don't know that particular foot tap codeword.

Since you are so good at finding posts, maybe you can show me where I have pissed any one off other than you? I usually just watch, but when you make delusional comments, that are completely unrelated to OPs, I once or twice intervened (maybe three times ;).

How about the many bizarre messages?

Since I lost an immediate family member in the Military last week, I'd really like to know so I can set the record straight.

Servous,

G.

Edit: I found the post. A millitary poster and another took offence to my opinion that the USA is the greatest country on earth.

So you say you know me, or know people that know me? Bring it if you're looking to stalk. I get it, you make money in Germany, and you don't like Germany. As far as losing a family member, then you should have answered that military member that answered you, which could have been deleted, along with your other posts.

And hardly is your stalking (now claiming real life stalking) part of the OP's posts. If you'd like to take it further, I'll be happy to, considering your corporate link is public.

I have nothing to hide. If you'd like to invest in a thriving business, one that does not correlate with the current financial crisis, I'd invite you to join. Follow the website link.

Like in the post where I invited you for a Bavarian beer, which was obviously an olive branch from your swideswiping the post. Racist or other comments seem pretty hypocritical. You told me you were new here, I thought you may actually like to see some nice Alps trails.

And like that peace offering, I leave you again to have the last word. You have more time for this than I.

Glad we came to an understanding, ******.

Remember the Ignore List. At this point, I am not interesting enough to be taken off again.

Oh yeah, investment schemes that thrive during downturns like this one are Ponzi Schemes. There's one in the news right now:

Billions Vanish

I read the legal page on your site. I don't think you are actually allowed to do such things, especially inviting Americans to the site, since sale and even access is clearly stated as prohibited. Whether a company official is doing it might be something they should be aware of, along with statements of claimed stalking.

For those interested in where his outrage comes from, try this link and look at the follow ups, including from a military serviceman:

http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?p=4903806#post4903806

He appararently has been tracking me since I moved!

Can we get back to the offer about the bearings, please?????
