On the first loop of the Breck 68 - the Colorado Trail section descent.

Any chance anyone came across it?

I've left word with the event organizers as well....

Thanks,

Sorry to hear about losing your 305. Did you by chance have it on the bike with the quick release accessory? I was thinking about using that setup, but worried about it being jarred loose during rides. So far, I just ride with it on the wrist.

Another racer found it and is sending it back!

It was the old style quick release, not the new. My own fault- I'd been riding it knowing the tab that locks the unit to the mount was broken. I think the mounts are otherwise good...

That's great. I'm always glad to hear when someone gets their gear returned to them. Usually these stories don't have happy endings. Some little faith in humanity has been restored. Glad you're getting it back.

Since I killed my GPS in a low speed crash a couple weeks ago I've been thinking of getting a bike mount and borrowing the wife's 305 (If she will let me.) Any difference in comfort when wearing it on the wrist with the strap that comes with the mounting kit as opposed to the original wrist strap?

Thanks!
