All,

I was doing a ton of mountain biking this weekend and as the weekend progressed I lost a considerable amount of braking power. So much so that by the final lap i was unable to slow down properly on the single tracks and found myself kissing some trees on more then one occasion.

After some research I think the problem is the friction point of the pads is not lining up with the rotors, but i'm not sure how to fix this problem. does anyone have any advice, links, or material that can help me out with this?

thanks

i'm using Avid BB-5's and i don't have a picture. i talked to a guy who worked for shimano and he seemed to think the description i provided was accurate. He said the pad that remains in place has probably shifted and it needs to be brought back in line
