Was cleaning up the shop and found some extra wheels laying around...
Decided to work on the EG a little. Swapped the old XT/823/2.5 WW with a Hope Pro2/5.1D/Nev 2.35 DTC for an instant 1 lb loss in rotating weight.
Added some homemade sealant which was a good excuse for ride #2. I still can't get that danged Pearl 3.1 to feel good though. I've been playing around with air pressure and sag. If I can't get it to how i want it, it maybe time to shop for a Fox or take advantage of the Monarch deal.
As she stands built, 34 lbs and some change.
The old wheel:

The new wheel (with the sealant still leaking out):

Is that Totem set for 180 travel?
My xt just died as well. Thing is heavy!

Damn you got a party in the front there.
How do you just find some wheels?
@TItusbro- Yes, I'm running the Totem at 180. Handles great and climbs well.
@sxr-racer- I find all kinds of things as I dig around my shop... New tires, forks, frames...hehe... I really need to clean it up and organize...
Here is what it looks like when it's "organized"

^^ And my wife accuses ME of never selling/donating/getting rid of old, unused stuff??!

American Pickers have been notified. They're on their way.
