I really am looking for resources and details for moving to Sun Valley.

I am interested in knowing what lift access there is in the summer, how long of a season there is for biking.

Housing. anyone know of a good place to rent an apartment? can't seem to find anything in sun valley itself, closest i find is hailey. not necessarily a problem, just would like to be in the valley (i think).

let me know what you think.

are you independently wealthy? It is an expensive place to live. There is great XC/AM riding there. I'm not sure about lift served. Your riding season will be relatively short (may through october) That isn't entirely bad as your ski season will go thanksgiving to april.

The lowly apartment renting folk are not in sun valley. They are in hailey, ketchum and bellview. The riding is spread out between all the towns and all the way over Galena summit and into Stanley.

Lift access starts July 1st because of Elk calving and runs to Labor Day . A summer pass is around $400 , but if you buy your ski pass before July 31st you can ride the lifts all summer . The trails are 10 miles and 12 miles to the bottom depending on which side you pick . On a good day you can get 5 or 6 runs in . If you are looking for housing or jobs look it all up online at mtnexpress.com .All the rest of the singletrack and elevation gain you will have to earn on your own .
