Ok so I moved here from Florida in July and live in Goodyear, AZ. I used to race bmx when I was younger and started to get back into going to the track before moving here. I decided to go with a DJ when i moved here so I can go to the track AND ride some trails. I've been out to White Tank and Estrella mountain parks a few times and I'm looking forward to checking out FINS! Eventually I would love to make it out to the East Valley and Flagstaff for some shuttles and a much anticipated NRA session. The thing is my one riding buddy mostly works days and I work mostly nights so I don't get out to the trails as much as I would like. The other can only make it out to the Estrella Mountain BMX Track for wednesday night practices. So...

WHO'S DOWN TO HIT UP SOME TRAILS OR SOME URBAN JUMPS???

look up Harv out at Estrella Mtn Ranch. He's a good contact for rides and FINS. You can also ride Deem Hills on NW side of the valley. Sat and Sun day rides are getting a little too busy with hikers now, but any other time is good.
Looks like a great place to build dirt jumps on north side of Deems...don't know how to get that approved or done,, but just a thought.

Rob is correct about Deems being great in the North Valley. Just another thought that may not take as much effort that is close to Deem Hills. Cross the bridge over the canal north of Deem's area and there are quite a few dirt jumps existing. Take 51st Ave north of Happy Valley Rd until it turns into Stetson Valley Pkwy, continue past the Road Closed sign and you will see the concrete bridge that crosses over the canal. There is a small neighborhood with a little park just before the road closed sign I normally park near, I think the road may be called Straight Arrow?? There are miles of all types of riding up there, my only complaint is the amount of trash that has been dumped in the area through the years. So I couldn't take it anymore and tuesday afternoon I took off to FINS by myself. I've never been there but Luckybastard told me the it's pretty rad. I'm in love with that place! I went back again the next day and would make it 3 days in a row for the night ride if I didn't have to work all freakin' day/night at the resturant. If you guys want to roll out there friday morning I'm down. Can't wait to bomb all the way down from the top of Northstar on threw Harv's Howl again!!

I'll have to check out Deems sometime soon too. Thanks for the info guys!

Unfortunately my bike is in the shop with a warranty fork issue, it suppose to be done by the end of the week but I haven't heard anything since I stopes it off on Monday. If something changes I will PM you to get the vital info.

Thanks! I have some buddies back home from Hollywood. I grew up in Ormond Beach (just north of Daytona) and lived in Orlando the last 6 years until this past July. It's definitely a lot different. Yeah Harv was actually the first person to contact me after I posted this. I sent him my email but I'll PM you my email as well just in case. I definitely want to get back to FINS asap. It's looking like friday morning. Thanks again to all the people who put that place together. Deems sounds cool. I'll have to put that one next on the list. I want to plan a trip to the NRA Pit soon too.
