for endurance racing.
All google searches seem to be ads and take me to a ezine or 99$ pdf to get me started.
Wheres the free info on what I can do with a HRM, a GPS and a goal>?
I dont ride with anyone near that caliber.
Where can I get started?
Whats proper recovery for mountain style endurance? How can I not hurt everyday?
thanks a bunch

Search this and the xc forums , you will find everything you need to know .
What type of endurance racing are you training for? I can post up a pretty detailed and informative link thats targetted towards 12 and 24 hour racing.
Here are some general workouts that you can do. The duration and intensity will be up to you and your fitness.

I'm doing my first solo 24hr in august and would love any info like that.
Heres a very good link thats worth a read for 12 and 24 hour racing, you might need to change around some of the numbers though, i think they may be for 12 hour road racing, because i dont think any first timer would do 192 miles in their first 12 hour solo, more like 90 or 100 depending on the course i think.

It has good stuff about general training theory though, well worth a read.
