I have a 07 Komodo that I've been mainly riding on the streets with lately. It still has the original RST Launch T7, 130mm fork on it, which is just about shot and ruining my ride.

Looking into swapping it for a rigid fork before I save up for a new suspension fork with a lockout.

What size rigid fork should I be looking for to account for the suspension travel of the old fork?

Don't know if there is a suspension-corrected rigid fork available with a long enough axle-to-crown length so that it wouldn't change the bikes geometry (lower the front end). Might not matter as much for riding on streets (as long as the pedals clear). Ideally, you would want to measure your fork from the axle to the top of the crown, deduct 20-25 percent of the travel for sag, and get something with the same a2c height.

These guys have a good selection. Don't know if any will work for you.
