Looking for Ouray/Telluride info

Long weekend = road trip.

I've only been through Ouray once, and that was 6 some years ago. Since my memories are faded, I'm looking for some new info about riding and or hiking etc down in the neck of the woods.

Anyone have some recomendations? They'd be much appreciated!

I recomend hitting Durango.

Telluride does have some good riding. I think they are even doing lift accessto the top. Stop in a paragon sports for the low down. ( if its still there, been a while )

You will be close to Molas Pass. From Molas Pass you can do an out and back, or loop it with several possible variations. Just check out a map. It is very high altitude, so leave very early & plan on a tough ride with incredible scenery.
Hmmm...

So it sounds like my riding partner is ditching me for some dh action at Silverton, but we'll prolly try to carpool towards there. Any XC/AM sort of rides in that direction good for a solo rider?
Durango. If your bud is in silverton you might as well go a litle farther.
