Built a gravel grinder bike, where are the gravel roads / fire roads / dirt roads worth exploring in Charlotte NC region? Willing to drive

There's some gravel in the Kings Mountain National and State Parks in SC. Here's a ride I do occasionally from Crowder's Mountain State Park. Gravel portions are from about mile 10 thru 15 and then 16.5 thru 20. It's ok, but not awesome.

beatty, sherman, lake norman . . . sry, couldn't help myself. some of the greenways in clt are gravel. maybe look at a map ad find an extended powerline cut?

If you want to log some miles, I'd recommend the National Forests.
