Hello

I've started riding my mountain bike again after a 8 year hiatus.

I'm looking to get my mountain bike up to awesomeness status again. AND I am looking to make my mountain bike all American made, or as much as possible.

Bellow you will find my current bike and my wish list.
Help me fill out my wish list with awesomeness and American made parts.


Frame: Dean Scout (2000 vintige)
Forks: Rock Shox SID XC (2000 vintige)
Head Set: Chris King
Handlebar: Control Tech (US made: 1998 Vintige)
Seat Post: Control Tech (US made: 2000 Vintige)
Seat: SGD Comp Ti
Shifters: Sram 9.0 SL 9 spd Betsys
Rear Derailleur: Sram 9.0 SL 9 spd Betsys
Stem: Custom hand built

Go with True Precision Stealth hubs. They are instant engagement and completely silent. They're made in the USA and will definitely upgrade your ride to the status of total awesomeness.

Oury grips are made in the USA and super comfortable.

I'll list more if I think of any. I think this is an awesome idea by the way.

I believe ActionTec cog sets are US made...will need a Ti or Steel FH Body (White Ind, True Precision, and King all offer this) to use it.

Makes sense. Their higher end forks approach a grand in price. No way they could make those here and still afford to keep the lights on.

Edit- a grand and a half in price. Wowsers, must have 24K stanchions.

And Chainrings too! Awesomeness!
Wow Carbon rims Awesomeness front, (still need a rim brake rim for the rear)
and break levers, more Awesomeness, thanks!
