i currently have a stock 31.6 seatpost that i'm wanting to replace with a much much lighter one. I'm looking for some titaniums ones but they all seem to be about 27.8 i think not too sure though. Would i need to get shims to make these work?
another question, what is the advantages/disadvantages of titanium and carbon posts?
Thanks!

New Ultimate Aluminium 31.6/350 = 137g

you can't beat that unless you go with carbon posts like Schmolke or AX-lightness at 3 times the cost.
