Well with lots of snow, no mountain biking and the ski resorts no less than 2 hours away. Snow shoeing seems like a great thing to get into.

However I am not looking to spend $300 for gear. Does anybody out there have some used gear or know of any sales? I am in the Springs. Shoe size is 11.5

Go get yourself some touring skis, way closer to riding ST than walking around on snowshoes.

walking around on showshoes is amazingly good cross training though. :thumbsup:
