I travel Brevard Road (191) South in the early a.m. and the French Broad river was getting in to Sandy Bottoms and close to that flat spot just after the Parkway today. Going home, it actually looked lower. Any locals have an update? Barricades up? Can't find road info on line and the DOT number I called only had the standard flood warning info message.

This is really important, as I'll have to get up earlier! Benefit - #1 at McD's and I can eat it while doing I-26 the detour at 60 mph.

Guess riding the next couple of days is out.

The river wasn't close to the road this morning on my commute. I little water was starting to come up into the SB parking area and thats about it. I'm sure it will rise a little throughout the day though.

Went for it - no problem, no nasty breakfast. Thanks for the info.
