Hey Everybody! I lost my keys yesterday while riding back to the Jeep. The last time I know they were in my possession was headed down Spencer to 5000. So anyway, I know it's a long shot but if anyone finds a small set of keys on Spencer/5000 with an old school (no web address!) Thomson key fob.... they're most likely mine.

Ok, I started at NMRC, went up 5000 to Reservoir Rd, up Trace Ridge, wrecked and found my keys on the ground just before the gap, took Spencer down, had a 'feeling' and checked for my keys about half way down and they were still there, continued to 5000 and followed that all the way back to NMRC where I discovered the hole in my key pocket and no keys..... and yes, you may want to check out that route before PMBAR

Wrecked while climbing? You must be one fast climber! Are we thinking mandatory checkpoint at the top of Trace? Gonna hurt no matter how we get there. I can't wait to open that passport. And for you mister Moto: while you were shuttling yesterday- I was riding. Lots of climbing to be sure.

Sounds like Eric wrecked on the loose rocky dh section right before Spencer. Nate some pre-smack talk?? You missed a good day at WR -12 riders yesterday. Oh and I heard PMBAR was mostly downhill

this is why we invest 1.00 in a mountain climbing d clip at wal-mart. one of my biggest fears biking, that and el chupacabra. no one will hear you screaming.

I have hired a porter to carry my tubes on the day in question. His name is Lob Sang. Best I can tell they all have the same name. He will also be carrying my oxygen.

I saw your post before my ride today, so I kept my eye out. I've never seen a thompson keychain and this didn't have any writing on it, but it does look like a cross section from the top of the post.

I love happy lost & found results! PP - I got one today too. Borrowing the neighbor's car and found my 6 month lost pocket knife on the back floorboard on to way to Pappas. Much needed positive event.

I'm glad things worked out. I like to do the loop backwards from Eric (based on his description) and after coming down trace and on my way to go up 5000 again to do bear branch, there they were by the posting board at the trace ridge parking lot. Someone else must have spotted them and put them there. I grabbed them so that they wouldn't disappear before Eric could get back there.
