We went for a rip on the snow trails along the Humber River and on the Humber River ice. There was only a small section of ridable shore ice. The river was high and flowing. The bright sun shine made the snow sparkle and the trees cast bluish shadows making it a very colourful day

10.5km at -17c run ride pairing on the frozen Humber River. We could see a school of fish under a glassy section under one of the bridges. The fish enjoyed the sunshine through the ice. There were a few open sections otherwise a pretty good riverdance!

Rad day on the Humber River for a 18km ice bike ride. It was nippy -17c and ride conditions were good. The studded tires cut through the heavy layer of snow to the ice underneath. A few open sections, however the ice was solid. So much to see along the way including: two river bank doobatoriums, a group of skaters and a couple of hikers.

Singlesprocket and I were joined by our icebiking friend for a run ride trifecta on the Humber River. We completed +18km on the southern Humber . Beautiful sunny -4c day.

Family Day (aka we have the day off work- holiday) We rode on the Humber River again . It was colder and overcast. It was still fun and the studded tires helped cut through the layers of snow on top of the ice. We rode 10km on a new section of the river we had never explored before because conditions currently are ideal (That could change with the snowfall overnight :) )

Snow flurries began to fall and they swirled around us like house cats at the midpoint of our 11km run -ride pairing along and on the Humber River today. The river surface was soft and slushy on top so we stuck mostly to streets and paths. Local ponds and toboggan hills were active. The sun peaked out as we headed home and us cats soaked up the vitamin D

We did another run-ride pairing the next day. -4c and sunny. We checked out a couple of sections of the Humber but the surface was soft. Rain followed by a few days of deep freezing temps would help but not sure if our ice bike days are behind us. 13km completed. We met an urban snowboarder practicing his tricks on the slopes of the by pass hill :)
