Last weekend my friend and I went to South Lake Tahoe for a weekend of epic trail riding! I won't bore you with words and let the pics talk for themselves.

Saturday - Mr. Toads Wild Ride.
Few minutes into the initial climb Carlos realized that his shock is too soft - good thing Acadian carries everything but the kitchen sink - including a shock pump :thumb:

Falls on the way up..

Up Rim tail we went

Finally the top - here is Carlos

Both of us chillin' at the top

Oh yeah…Mr. Toads here we come…

Carlos coming down upper rock section

My turn…

Nice landscaped berm..

That is all...I'm still smiling and day dreaming after those two rides...

Life is so damn good when you are on your bike! :thumb: :agree:

Luc great pics, those are some great trails! And it is even better with some MKIII Content

Some buds were up there last weekend and said the trails were quiet

yeah considering we did the Flume loop counterclockwise, we didn't see that many riders on Flume! Same for TRT on the way up.

Toads was also quiet...we didn't see anybody there.

hope you are healing up bro!

That is a great photo essay. What is it about those 'bike lying down with scenery in background' pics that works so well? Those shots always work out cool.

Sweet photos Luc!

Was the "chain slap noise" coming from Carlos' bike bearable?
LOL...I don't know since I was always too far ahead to hear it

I wish I had ridden Toad's when I was out 3 years ago, but the Flume over to the Rim was still great. I hated the drops off the side with all of the sand, but the views killed. It worked out really well as Julie got to roll with me. She cut it short and took the shuttle back and I rolled on up with 2 cats from San Jose. I had a great ride that day. I still want to roll Toad's, but that was still a super fun day. If Cali didn't have all those hippies I'd move there. :D

Good stuff Luc.

Thanks guys! This reminds me, I'm due for another Tahoe trip ;)

I used a little compact Canon S500 - nothing fancy!
